BIOMED was founded in 1976 by Harald and Christa Caspers as manufacturer and distributor of laboratory diagnostics. Right from the start our highly qualified employees and continuous innovation have made BIOMED a name for itself. Not only in-house research but also customers' perspectives contribute to our continuous development process.

We are aware that the medical laboratory work in relation to our actions and our products requires an uncompromising commitment to quality. BIOMED has therefore been involved early on with quality management and in 1996 was one of the first diagnostic companies in Germany to be DIN EN ISO 9001 certified. Moreover, all our products conform to the IVD directives and are CE labelled.
