New Duotrol Lipid Level 3
This new Lipid Control is intended for in-vitro use in the quality control of HDL, LDL, Cholesterol and Triglyceride methods on clinical chemistry systems. The Lipid profile is used together with other risk factors to assess a person's risk of cardiovascular diseases. For this reason we are happy to be able to offer the new Lipid inspection Duotrol Level 3 in the pathological area (for example with values of up to 440 mg/dL for Triglyceride as well as 297 mg/dL for cholesterol) for you in your clinical chemistry laboratory.

New Clostridium difficile rapid test (toxin A/B + GDH)
With the new immunochromatographic rapid test, the simultaneous proof of toxin A/B specific, the C. difficile as well as the antigen Glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) is possible.
The C. difficile-associated disease is the most commonly identified cause of nosocomial diarrhea with an increasing mortality rate, severity and frequency of C. difficile infection. For clinically severe cases of the disease and for all infections with ribotypes 027 and 078, a reporting requirement (accordingly to § 6 paragraph 1 no IfSG 5a) is introduced.
With this reliable test procedure from a sample receipt, a fast and accurate screening test is available on the same day.

New BIOMED Rota-Adeno-Kombi-Kit

Latex Cystatin C reagent - a highly sensitive biomarker of renal failure
With our new cystatin C reagent you have a high quality marker to assess renal function - More sensitive than the creatinin related MDRD formula to detect the reduction of the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR).
A reduction in GFR below 60 ml/min for more than three months is a sign of chronic kidney disease. At a GFR of 60 it is also the subject of a kidney disease if albuminuria is found or there are signs of kidney damage by imaging or renal biopsy. Patients with impaired renal function have a significantly increased risk for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
Our turbidmetric latex test is an easy-to-use cystatin C test that can be performed with all clinical chemical analyzers. A direct comparison with known concentrations of standardized materials allows a precise determination of the value of cystatin C in serum samples.
Obviously you also receive the appropriate cystatin C controls and calibrators in the proven Biomed manner.
