Together with you, we grow our “Review Forest” in Mexico. The trees are planted on an individual planting area on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico. Gradually, under the supervision of the global children’s and youth initiative Plant-for-the-Planet, the individual trees will grow into an entire forest.
The Plant-for-the-Planet initiative was launched in January 2007 by Felix Finkbeiner, who was 9 years old at the time. Finkbeiner was awarded the “Federal Cross of Merit” by German President Steinmeier in May 2018 for his commitment to the environment. The goal of the initiative, which is now supported by numerous governments and organizations, is to plant 1,000-billion trees worldwide.
Trees are the cheapest and most effective means of sequestering CO2, giving humanity a time-saver to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero and mitigate the climate crisis.
