Leuko-lys is a dilution solution for manual leukocyte determination in the counting chamber. The solution is used for the quantitative in vitro determination of leukocytes in fresh capillary or venous whole blood coagulated with EDTA. By haemolyzing the erythrocytes with Leuko-lys the leukocyte nuclei are clearly visible. Additives in Leuko-lys enable rapid haemolysis and good distribution of the leukocyte nuclei.
