Scope of the Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains to users the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by BIOMED Labordiagnostik GmbH (provider) on this website (hereinafter referred to as “offer”).

The legal principles of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG).

Access Data/ Server-Logfiles

The provider (or his web space provider) collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data includes:

Handling of Personal Data

You can agree or disagree with this in our contact forms. Further data will not be collected. This data will only be used to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.

With the registration to the newsletter we store your IP address and the date of the registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers for receiving the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised party.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of data, your email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message to the contact options listed above.

Integration of Third-party Services and Content

It may happen that contents of third parties, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. It always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) use the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of these contents. We strive to use only those contents, whose respective offerers use the IP address only for the distribution of the contents. However, we have no influence on whether the third party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as we know, we inform the users about this.

This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes.

In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing).
